Unknown Horse Gear
This appears to fit on the forehead of a horse. The
age is unknown, but it's a sure bet it is very old.
The measurements are:
- 16 inches across the top of the
triangle.
- 10 inches down each side of the
triangle.
- Thin leather strips approx. 12
inches long.
- The leather strip at the bottom
of the triangle, that lays down the rest of the distance of the
face, is about 11 inches including the end tassel.
- Two embossed stars in the brass
circles in each top corner
There is a strap that goes behind the
ears, and the other strap under the head.
